Whether therefore ye eat or drink or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God”. 1 Corinthians 10:31

The Health ministry is committed to bringing happiness to the church family and community through optimal health. This department believes that a sound body is required for sound intellect, and our desire should be to attain and maintain a healthy body and mind so we can serve God to the fullest. Our mission is to promote health education and awareness to the church and community.

God, the Creator of our bodies and of this world gave us a blueprint; an owner’s manual for how to obtain a fulfilling and healthful life. This blueprint is the scripture and the health ministry would like you join us on a journey to explore how to live a long, healthy life together. It is God’s desire that each of us may have an abundant life (John 10:10), and that means abundance of physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. These areas of our lives are all interconnected and cannot be neglected if we want to experience whole person health.

Our God has lovingly given us divine principles to follow in order to achieve optimal health and we are called to receive the many benefits of living by these principles.
We believe our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and we must care for it intelligently so we can fully experience God’s presence and discern His will in our lives. By adopting the most healthful lifestyle with adequate exercise, rest and a healthy diet, by abstaining from things that harm our mind and body, by nurturing healthy interpersonal relationships, by maintaining a positive outlook and hopeful attitude, and by seeking to know God deeply and trusting in His leading of our lives, we can begin to experience an abundant life today while also making a positive implant in the lives of those around us.

The focus for this year will be:

√ Health checks for church and community
√ Community health Expo
Healthy diet workshops for children and young people
Cooking classes

Health is a great treasure. It is the richest possession that mortal can have. Wealth, honor or learning is dearly purchased. If it be at the loss of vigor of health, none of these attainments can secure happiness if health is wanting. (C.E p16)

Come, share and learn and be inspired.
